Classmate Playdate was founded by a father of a six year old girl who wasn’t getting as many playdates as she wanted. While she had many wonderful classmates she would have liked to play with, it wasn’t clear to her mom and dad when those friends might be free to play. Her parents didn’t want to keep contacting all the other parents, especially on the short notice requested by their daughter: she wanted a playdate today! The dad suspected there were other parents in the same predicament, but he didn’t know which they were.
